Treasury Operations Analyst (Data Solutions)

What does a great Treasury Operations Analyst do?

We are looking for a detailed, critical problem solver. This person thrives in a role that requires a high level of communication at multiple levels of the organization and has the aptitude to gather accurate requirements from both technical and organizational contacts. This individual must have a great methodical mind and the curiosity to “dig” for answers and solutions while being honest about the restrictions. Visual analytics and a background in Power BI is required. 

As a Business Analyst you will work directly with the Settlement team to provide statistic and reporting information to support the overall improvement of business functions. We will apply strong business knowledge and analytics to support our business units by creating sustainable reporting and dash boarding solutions.
 
In this role, you can look forward to:
• Facilitating “Discovery” and creation of User Stories 
• Help transform an organization and help automate reporting processes 
• Provide Executive and Senior Leaders timely and accurate reporting
• Create and maintain Power BI reports, Models, Dataset, Dataflows, Workspace and Gateway
• Create and maintain KPI Metric reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics (PA) reporting
• Working within a collaborative problem-solving team  

Basic Qualifications for Consideration
• 2+ years’ experience in reporting and analytics
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent
• Intermediate Python is required
• Demonstrated proficiency BI visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI, IBM Cognos, Tableau)  
• Experience with ETL and automation tools (Alteryx, UIPATH)
• Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Focus on continuous Improvement and learning required
• Ability to work efficiently and productively with some direction
• Hands on experience with SQL (familiarity with Oracle and Hadoop a plus)
• Ability to identify front-end users’ requirements 
• Approach responsibilities with a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Degree in Statistics, Business Analysis, Database Engineering, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data, as well as lead discussions on business and technical topics
• Knowledge/experience working within an Agile framework like Scrum or Kanban
• Proficient in SQL specifically the creation of queries, extract, reports, or scripting for Oracle databases
