Occupational Health & Safety Internship

As an Occupational Safety and Health Intern, you will help to promote a culture that focuses on organizational safety, and the health and well-being of team members. Key responsibilities will include:
- Research on organizational or occupational safety and health topics;
- Research, review, and assist in the implementation of projects related to OSHA compliance;
- Participation in injury prevention and ergonomics related projects;
- Assist in the development of educational material related to organizational/occupational health, safety, and compliance topics.
This position will collaborate with various departments such as Human Resources, Distribution Centers, Stores, Training & Development, and Legal.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or related field
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, at times, and as appropriate
- Ability to exercise professional judgment appropriate to their level of education and experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
