NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.
 
This is a full-time Intern position located in Greensboro, NC. The position will be temporary in nature and last approximately 3-months.
 
Desired Degree: Bachelor of Business Administration, Computer Science, BS of Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
 
Job Summary:
Qorvo is searching for an intern in the Procurement team. This position will assist in data collection, data analysis, standardization, process documentation and reporting for the Procurement team. Projects require coordination with global sites to provide corporate alignment and standardization.
 
Qualifications:
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Business
  • Proficient in the use of computers, Excel, Word, Tableau and other reporting tools. SAP experience not required, but preferred.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated team collaboration experience
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Procurement team with purchase orders and purchase order confirmation.
  • Develop process documentation
  • Interface with global teams to ensure procedures meet all our requirements and are accepted globally. Document exceptions if required.
  • Run reports, analyze, and identify actions required to close gaps in performance
  • Provide updates to the team on status of the projects, progress, observations, etc.
