2022 Manufacturing Safety Intern

Occupational Safety Internship
A meaningful and challenging safety assignment that directly contributes to the Company’s business objectives. Intern work plans range from manufacturing facility safety engineering to global safety operating system and standards development. You will be responsible for developing a project plan and completing deliverables with key business value. Whether at World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI in a staff function or in a manufacturing environment where the proverbial "rubber hits the road", your assignments will provide you a dynamic Safety Engineering experience with a glimpse of nearly all aspects of “Safety” that a large company can offer.
Minimum Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Ergonomics
  • Experience with SharePoint and Office 365
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), flexibility, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, internal motivation
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
