As a Safety Function we partner with Company leaders, managers and employees to build Safe operating conditions and processes for all of our global employees. Safety is an “all in” function as each employee is responsible for his or her own safety and that of those working with them.

A meaningful and challenging safety assignment that directly contributes to the Company’s business objectives. Intern work plans range from manufacturing facility safety engineering to global safety operating system and standards development. You will be responsible for developing a project plan and completing deliverables with key business value. Whether at World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI in a staff function or in a manufacturing environment where the proverbial "rubber hits the road", your assignments will provide you a dynamic Safety Engineering experience with a glimpse of nearly all aspects of “Safety” that a large company can offer.
