IUPUI Athletics Gameday Worker
The IUPUI Athletics gameday worker job is designed to provide paid (hourly) opportunities of learning and experience with the operations of home Jaguars athletics events, which may include Horizon League and/or NCAA championship events pending the annual calendar of events.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Setup and tear town of home events sports including soccer, volleyball, basketball, swimming and diving, softball, and other sports
- Visiting team liaisons to provide excellent customer service for team arrival, halftime, post-game needs
- In-game marketing fulfillment
- Assist in ticketing functions – gameday ticket sales and home player pass list
- Assist in activating corporate sponsorships
- Provide excellent customer service to all constituent groups
- Duties assigned by Director of Athletics or other full-time administrative staff
IUPUI seeks students interested in athletics administration as a career and is pursuing their degree in a related field. Game schedules are generally well known many weeks ahead of the event date to allow great scheduling flexibility. Students who are interested in working men’s basketball will need to provide their own transportation to the Indiana State Fairgrounds (a parking permit will be provided).

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities Gained in this Role
This position will teach students how to provide quick decisions as well as the ability to collaborate with multiple working groups.
Students will gain insight and social structure knowledge by working with diverse groups of individuals.
Students will also learn how to organize and manage their time effectively.
