After-School Classroom Leader

Federal Work-Study Eligible Students!

General Purpose of Position:
  After school classroom leaders will guide students in free play, homework time, clubs and meals. Classroom leaders will build relationships with the students and making sure they're getting the most out of their time at program. This position will be for our after-school program, which runs 4-6:30. The title will be working directly with students. Our day is broken into 5, 30-minute blocks; free play, homework time, club (STEM, art, bible study, SEL), free play, and dinner.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Helping with homework
  • Leading club activities
  • Free play (watching over and interacting with students as they play)
  • Serving meals
  • Keeping a clean and safe classroom
  • Build positive relationship with students
  • maintain safe environment for students
  • volunteer management

Qualifications:
●     Must be dependable and able to work after school hours
●     Must be comfortable working with and leading children
●     Must be flexible and patient
Previous experience working with children
