Facilities Technician - Part Time
 
 
ATL is seeking an experienced part-time Facilities Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented and enjoy working on a variety of different building projects and tasks. This position is part-time, 3 days per week with the potential for full-time growth. The position does require a rotating weekend on-call schedule and the ability to respond to occasional after-hours building needs.
 
 
Major Responsibilities:

  • Support the general maintenance tasks for entire facility as a member of the facilities team.
  • Perform general maintenance task including but not limited to carpentry, drywall installation, finishing and repair, painting, flooring installation, lawn maintenance, and snow removal.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
  • Perform routine equipment inspection and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Assess building issues and provide appropriate resolution to troubleshoot. 
  • Maintain detailed daily logbook with documentation on tasks that has been completed and in process. 
  • Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required.
 
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a commercial or residential maintenance environment required. 
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to safely use various machinery including power and hand tools.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time from onset to completion.
  • The position requires rotating weekend on-call duty and the ability to work during nonstandard hours when the need arises.
  • Must be able to always operate with the highest level of safety.
  • Ability to closely follow direction on all projects and seek guidance when needed.
