About us: Our department is home to many branches of the mathematical sciences: pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics—even mathematics education.
Each discipline is represented by passionate practitioners and avid researchers—all of whom collaborate to build a strong department.

Description: A Math grader must be able to accurately and precisely grade homework, quizzes, and exams from an assigned Professor. Follow professor's grading procedures and turnaround time for assignments.

  • Hours flexible
  • 3-15 hours per week based on level of assignments

Process: After applying, you will be asked to take an evaluation for the level you are qualified to grade for and then have an evaluation interview. If both of those are satisfactory then you will be assigned a professor to grade for.

Minimum Requirements: You must have completed 15300 and 15400 or 15900 math courses. Higher level coursed preferred.

Through their work in this position, students will become acquainted with the following profiles.
 
Communicator – Students will learn how to be better communicators by building relationships with peers and fellow students. Individuals in this position will improve their active listening skills by interacting with and assisting other students in their understanding of mathematics.
 
Problem Solver – Students will collaborate with peers in improving the clients math skills. They will use active listening as well as previous experience to assist other students in the quest for a better understanding of mathematics.
