Marketing Assistant Intern

Near IUPUI Campus- Federal Work-Study Eligible Students

General Purpose of Position:
The Marketing Assistant will support the FHL marketing team for the expansion of the Online Training Program. The responsibilities include database management, support for mailings, assistance in developing a marketing plan and material. This position will include qualifying and contacting potential food pantry trainees via internet research, mailing flyers, emailing, and contacting via phone.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 • Provide support to golf marketing team.
   • Execute and develop marketing strategy.
   • Work with marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives.
   • Assist in developing and executing a marketing campaign.
   • Perform customer research.
   • Create reports on marketing performance.
   • Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.
   • Assist with media releases, social media and website content.
   • Organize and manage marketing collateral.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
   • High level of organization and attention to detail.
   • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
   • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts.
   • Excellent time management skills.
   • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities.
   • Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines.
   • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
   • Strong writing and copy-editing abilities.
