Sculpture Shop Monitor

JOB DESCRIPTION:
General Purpose
Assist with maintaining safe work environment & general upkeep of Herron Sculpture shops.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (assign % of time spent in each area = total 100%)
50% Assisting students outside of class maintain safety protocol
50% Assisting with the general maintenance of the Herron Sculpture shops

Supervises
No one

Tools and Equipment Used (if any)
Pallet jack, some wood shop equipment, some metal shop equipment

Skills/Experience Gained in this Role (related toward student’s career/academic progress or major, and Principles of Undergraduate Learning)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Working knowledge of most wood and metal shop equipment
• Skill in mold-making, wood working and shop organization
• Ability to follow directions carefully and be on time
