Job Summary:
Perform general and portable radiography, E.K.G’s and duties related to the orderly function of the Department of Radiology.
- Produce and process radiographs
- Operate the department in an efficient and effective manner under approved hospital d departmental guidelines
- Maintain an effective client (physician and patient) and interdepartmental relations
- Perform EKGs during normal department working hours
- Maintain technical expertise
What we need from you:
- Completion of a formal radiology technology training program at an American Medical Association approved school (will accept new grads) required.
- At least one (1) year experience in a clinical radiology and experience with Computerized Radiography or Digital Radiography required.
- Current Illinois Radiology Technologist License required.
- Accreditation by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency required and this accreditation must be renewed every two years.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology certificate required. Annual renewal of this certificate is required.
- CPR required: Only certifications issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross will be accepted.
