Fund Development Assistant

Federal Work-Study Eligible Students

General Purpose of Position:
 This position will support the fund development of Arts for Lawrence through assisting in acknowledgment, fundraising events, mailings, and donor cultivation. Positions are for one academic year, however many assistants are asked to stay for multiple semesters. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
   Generate handwritten thank you letters within 48 hours of a gift
   Deploy Sponsorship acknowledgments
   Gather donated items from local businesses for fundraisers
   Generate impact letters for donors every other month
   Fundraising Event Planning
   Assist in the development of the fundraising calendar

Qualifications:
 Must be reliable and self-motivated
   Good oral and written communication skills
   Ability to work effectively with various personality types
   Maintain strong professional and positive demeanor
   Proven accuracy and attention to detail
