Job Description
Privatyze (a Launch Factory company) is looking for a Full Stack Web Application Development Intern to join our Dev team.
In this position you will work to develop engaging content, craft visuals, create videos and execute outreach strategies across our social media platforms. This will include assisting in content strategy, topic generation, and the development of social media posts. Additionally, you will work to research data privacy organizations and communicate with these accounts. This is a part-time, unpaid, remote position.
In this position you will work with our Director of Software Engineering as we design, architect, and develop our user-facing platform. We will be able to learn some innovative and valuable skills including, but not limited to, privacy-focused APIs, system architecture design and development, APIs development and implementation, UI/UX development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with our team to implement design changes, new UI components, and new functionality as needed.
- Help with writing clean, reusable ReactJS components for front-end websites and native applications using NextJS/Electron frameworks.
- Implement quality code independently with best practices.
- Work on new feature development along with architecting backend APIs.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot any issues that may come up with our customer-facing platform.
- Directly with internal and multi-functional teams to collect requirements on new features, outline proposals and drive development to closure.
Qualifications/Experience
- Able to work remotely, including using computers for long periods of time and communicating with others via Zoom, by telephone, email, or instant messaging
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in the field of computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, video game development, or related field
- Desire to learn on the job
- Available to work a minimum of 16 hours a week remotely
