Graduate Assistant - IUPUI Graduate Mentoring Center
The IUPUI Graduate Office is seeking a self-motivated current IUPUI graduate/professional student with an interest in mentoring to serve as a Graduate Assistant for The IUPUI Graduate Mentoring Center (GMC). The GMC serves faculty, staff, and graduate and professional students at IUPUI through seminars, workshops, and social events.
The graduate assistant will work with the Director of the GMC and the Assistant Dean to develop resources and programming for the Center. Additional responsibilities may include: data collection and analysis, marketing and promotions, and working with designated partners, including student organizations and culture centers.
Current IUPUI graduate/professional student
The ability to work independently and online meeting skills are essential for this person, especially during limitations due to COVID-19. Furthermore, the successful applicant must work well with others in the Graduate Office and may have other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and superior communication skills are mandatory.
A Fall appointment of ~15-20 hours per week will begin on or before August 15. Continuation to a Spring appointment of ~15-20 hours/week will be determined based on exemplary completion of job responsibilities and quality of work produced.
