Afterschool Teacher

The Indiana Council on Educating Students of Color is seeking an energetic, and experienced teacher. This extended day teaching position is part-time for the academic school year; approximately 12 hours per week

Develop and implement lesson plans and daily activities focused on language arts and math

Be willing to work with primary grades K-6th

Provide individual and group teaching that motivates and instill enthusiasm for learning

Complete reports and student assessments in a timely fashion

Responsible for the maintenance and security of equipment

Oversee all rules and regulations of the school administration

Treat students with dignity and respect

Maintain professional demeanor and attitude

Participate in recommended trainings, conferences, courses for professional development

Perform additional duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree

Experience in school age curriculum

Teachers License
