Engineering Intern

We are seeking an aspiring engineer to fill an Engineering Intern position with the Siemens Energy, Inc. Small Engine Business in Indianapolis, IN supporting the industrial SGT-A05 product line. Our ideal applicant is a current student of a mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and/or energy engineering program. You will learn the responsibilities of a professional engineer under the supervision of our more senior team members.

Primary Responsibilities

· Learn the responsibilities of an engineer in design, project management, and/or technical services support capacities

· Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work

Basic Qualifications

· Current enrollment in an engineering program

· GPA > 3.0

· Willingness to learn new skills

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills

· Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

· Ability to work collaboratively and individually with the same enthusiasm and intensity

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

· Ability to work 10 – 15 hours per week during the school year
