Position Overview
The Per Diem Dietician is responsible for assessing patient’s nutritional status. They also provide nutritional intervention and counseling to patients and families.
Work Schedule – As needed during the day shift / No weekends
Service Area(s) – JourneyCare Service Area (mostly phone support and recommendations)
Requirements for Licensed Dietician positions
- Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Dietetics
- Licensed Dietician in the state of Illinois
- 1-3 years of clinical dietetic experience
- Member of the American Dietetic Association preferred
- Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) maintenance of clinical hours
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Interpersonal skills
- Organization skills
- Computer skills (Word, Patient Database, e-mail), voice mail
