Pedal Mechatronics Intern/Co-op 1 @ 19$/hr

CTS's Engineering Tech Center, or ETC, located in Elkhart, IN , has an opening for an Engineering Intern/Co-op 1 student , supporting accelerator pedal development on the Pedal Engineering team. The Pedal Engineering team is responsible for control system calibrations, development, and performance testing of accelerator pedal systems for automotive applications.

Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a technical degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Alternative engineering degrees (e.g. Industrial Engineering or Materials Engineering) can be considered on a case by case basis.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Position Expectations/Definitions- for Elkhart, Indiana ETC only

• Co-op: Commitment to work fulltime at CTS on an ongoing basis, alternating terms/semesters until college graduation; or, if local college student, working 12-20 hours/week during the school year & up to 40 hours/week during the Summer Work Session;
• Intern: Ability to work 12-20 hours/week while attending High School, and work up to 40 hours/week during the Summer break. Or, as a college student, working Summer(s) only, or some other intermittent basis, with no commitment to ongoing, scheduled employment, either by CTS or the student.
