Warehouse Clerk | SRI Indianapolis

The Warehouse Clerk (or Specialist) is responsible for handling a company’s incoming and outgoing merchandise, and to manage the company’s stock. This person helps maintain and ensure organization of the overall workflow and efficiency that is required on a daily basis.

This position works in accordance with policies, procedures, and the philosophy of Stock Car Steel & Aluminum, LLC.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pull orders, pack boxes

• Receive, inspect and record deliveries

• Sort and stock inventory in correct locations

• Fulfill will call/walk up orders

• Load trucks

• Drive delivery truck and make deliveries daily as needed

• Cut/Shear materials

• Maintain safe and clean work environment

• Operate forklift

• Assist customers as needed
