Job description:
- We are looking for a talented Multi Media Staff Intern to join our editorial team, and create engaging and relevant content for the U.S. Hispanic community across all of our distribution channels, including Crediverso’s blog and social media platforms, as well as our partner channels including weekly newsletters, in-app experiences, and in-store features.
- You will work alongside our product development, engineering, finance and executive teams on a daily basis.
- You will be responsible for researching and writing about relevant content
- You will find digital focus stories and generating lots of relevant article ideas, always thinking about its amplification on social media channels.
- You will be part of managing our company editorial content in a cohesive way
- You will work with our team of financial experts to write engaging, accurate and informative articles and create other social content and formats such as stories, video scripts, and social media copy captions.
- You will create original text and video content, which will be posted
- You should be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
- You must have previously published writing we can look at, even student journalism and blog posts
- Digital skills are a plus, from Photoshop to using a CMS.
- Excellent news sense and understanding of digital media trends, with a good feel for what makes content popular online
- You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
- You should be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced start up environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Learn and monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with other teams, including our product development, engineering, and finance teams
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Help oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Time commitment: Part-time and full-time internship positions available. 20 hours a week, 12 week commitment, starting as soon as possible. Depending on performance, there is the possibility of an expanded position following the semester, or full-time work postgraduation.
