Talent Acquisition Intern

How will you make an impact?

GATX is looking for a motivated individual to join our HR team as an Intern to assist our Talent Team with day-to-day operations and projects. This will include recruiting and special projects. 
What are your key activities?

  1. Assist in various recruiting tasks, such as; ATS maintenance, job postings, and scheduling
  2. Research projects – identify tools to enhance recruitment and strategic sourcing
  3. Ensure all documents are updated in personnel files
  4. Update job boards and intranet as needed

What is required of you?

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Some business experience in a professional office environment preferred, through part-time work or internships.
  • Proficiency in multiple PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). PeopleSoft experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) a plus.
