Process Automation Analyst Intern (Summer 2021)

Title: RPA Analyst Intern

Commitment: 20+ hours per week

Job Summary
As part of the Trimble Process Automation Team, the RPA Business Analyst Intern will develop and deploy robotic process automation (RPA) digital workers to automate manual processes across Finance, Human Resources, Customer Service, and other functions within Trimble .

Key Role Responsibilities:
  • Work with process owners and stakeholders to identify and assess processes that are candidates for automation.
  • Translate business requirements and current state process designs to create automation ready process flows.
  • Create detailed exception scenarios that RPA design needs to incorporate
  • RPA Bot Development
  • Support the planning, prioritization and implementation of automation testing including designing and developing RPA test plans, and procedures
  • Oversee test coverage and the timely resolution of defects
  • Directly interact with business areas. Coordinate and collect project meetings and status information. Ensures that issues or delays in the project are escalated to project team and management so that appropriate action may be taken.
  • Present recommendations to management and others with the ability to influence change, negotiate and take action to accomplish plans. Take full responsibility for results produced

Candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree (or within a year of graduation) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Strong communication, presentation and organization skills 
  • Strong time management skills
  •  Basic knowledge of robotic process automation, exposure to Automation Anywhere a plus but not required.
  •  Basic understanding of financial principles and terminology
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to break down business problems into logical tasks and think creatively
