Patient Care Assistant (Nursing Assistant) Training Program

St. Catherine's is offering fully paid training and, upon successful completion, a full-time or part-time role working at our facility in one of our numerous specialties. This training is available for individuals with no or limited prior health care experience.

What to expect:
- Skills you will learn: Patient care activities such as proper hygienic care (bathing, showering, shaving, etc.), assisting with hydration and nutrition, ambulation and transportation of patients, therapeutic communication and assisting in emergency situations.
- BLS certification provided.
- Training/Orientation is fully paid at the same rate of the position.
- Classroom-style learning supplemented with hands on clinical training.
- Agreement to a 1-year commitment period working at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital upon successful completion of the training program.

Requirements for the Nursing Assistant Training Program:
- Passion for patient care, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred experience: Customer Service experience, Caregiver experience and demonstrated interest and/or exposure to healthcare.
