Job Description:

Responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served according to exact chef’s specifications while complies with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following food production programs and procedures.   

 

Job Responsibilities:

~Follow a given recipe and quality standard and prepare various food items using different methods and kitchen equipment such as oven, broiler, fryer, broaster and grills.

~Follow company policies and processes, cooking methods, standard portion sizes, and kitchen rules and quality standards

~Ensure food products are always at highest quality, health, and safety standards

~Maintain work station area, including shelves, tables, counters, sinks, grills, fryers, broasters, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, broiler are kept cleaned and sanitized always following safety and sanitation polices and processes of Guernsey Farms Dairy

~Enform and report to Head Chef and/or managers any ticket times, equipment issues, food shelf life, food shortages,

~Stock, store, rotate, and manage area you are assigned to and ensure quality and speed of food served 

manager on duty or Chef 

~May be subject to other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Job Skills and Qualifications:

One Year line cook experience. Outgoing self-motivated Individual, Reliable Transportation, Proven Cooking Experience, Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, Quality Focus, Multi-tasking, Time Management, Teamwork Orientation
